I’m Jacqy — a host, model, artist, and human resource and training consultant. But more importantly, I ’m a daughter, a fur-mom, a sister, and a friend navigating life, constantly learning and growing.

I've always been a believer that you can have a lot of things in life - case in point, a thriving career in corporate and in the creative space.  Right after graduating from the University of the Philippines in Tacloban City, with just 10,000 PHP in my pocket and a heart full of ambition, I flew to Manila, took calls in a BPO for two months, became a communication coach, then a trainer, and eventually rose to leadership roles, working closely with executives. I even helped a start-up grow from just five employees to over 100 in two years, making it an 8-figure business. At the same time, I had a modeling career working with beauty brands and left no stone unturned getting my feet wet into hosting and now acting. At that same time, I created my little space on the internet through writing and sharing my experiences with you. I was simply in love with my life and the beauty that surrounded the challenges and lessons that came my way. 

All of this happened because I was the right person at the right place and time. (P.S. I made sure I became the right person! 😉) On a serious note, my secret was having immense gratitude for all the experiences I’ve had and truly understanding that I deserve a seat at the table.
